Transit: The Mexican government’s immigration tax or departure tax is €60 ($1,100.00 pesos) and is subject to change without notice. The taxes cannot be paid with credit cards or in dollars or euros. Currency: The official currency is the Mexican peso, divided into 100 centavos.
